It has been my pleasure to practice yoga with some local people since I started to offer the classes. Interestingly, when I shared I have been studied and practiced Buddhism deeper after starting of my social work in Vietnam as I needed, I realized there are many people are interested in learning it more. With their requests, I started to post this class with excitement.

As I was born and raised in Japan, Shintoism and Buddhism is always part of my life, but early 20th, the strong eagerness within me to search the root of Buddhism,I could have spent uncountable hours with Japanese monks, Vietnamese nuns, Thai monks, and Tibetan lamas, even the lamas and Rinpoches from Namgyal monastery,( Dalai Lama’s private monastery) and could have met H.H the 14th Dalai Lama 2 times as I had contributed my service to those lamas when they needed.

Personally I myself have realized a lot what the true message of Buddhism through Tibetan people and Tibetan monks and I have enjoyed always sharing what I have learned from them compare to what nowadays becoming common in temples and monasteries, and Buddhism organizations in Japan, Vietnam, Nepal, India as well as Europe and States.

As class description, instead of talking myself too much, I would like to start with sitting meditation for 10-15 minutes to begin the class with the silent moment, then I would like to hear their thoughts and comments and if anyone interested in my personal experience and studies, I would be glad to share those.

I hope this class will help individual day to day life to relief anxiety and stress and bring more joy and happiness into her or his life as the way who he or she is.
