I’d like to know whether the candidates have an opinion or even a plan for cleaning up the Duwamish. It seems like a lot of talking, and little action, has happened in the last 10 years or so. Do we even have a chance to ever get it cleaned up now that the Trump administration slashes the funds for Super Fund Sites?

  I think we need to install a trash wheel like they have done in Baltimore. We need to keep pressuring the Federal Government and the State to further invest in clean-up efforts. We must also work with the city, state, and county in habitat restoration.
