Seattle Parks hosts track meet for adults on June 7th:

Hydrate, stretch and get ready for some friendly competition. Seattle Parks and Recreation is holding its annual Masters Preview Track and Field Meet on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 8 am–4:30 pm at West Seattle Stadium. The meet is open to everyone 19 years of age and older.

This year Seattle Parks is partnering with the USA Track and Field Pacific Northwest Masters Committee and will offer track events including the 1500-meter racewalk, 500-meter run, 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, relays and field events including the javelin, hammer, shot put, pole vault, triple jump, high jump and much more.

The cost to participate is $20 for the first event and $5 for additional events. A concession stand with healthy food items will also be available.

West Seattle Stadium is located at 4432 35th Ave. SW, just off the West Seattle bridge exit.
