Concerned about going back into the world? The Buddha’s teaching provides a refuge in its articulation of our transcendent potential (Buddha), the path of meditation, ethics, and wisdom leading to awakening (Dhamma), and the community which can support us in such practice (Sangha). Ordained in the Thai Forest Tradition, Ajahn Kovilo and Tan Nisabho have trained under senior teachers such as Ajahn Pasanno, Ajahn Piak, Ajahn Anan, and Ajahn Jayasaro. Ayya Soma is a bhikkhuni ordained in the Theravada lineage and co-founder of Empty Cloud Monastery in New Jersey. Ajahn Kovilo and Tan Nisabho are part of the Clear Mountain Monastery Project, the aspiration of a Thai Forest Monastery in the greater Seattle Area. The schedule, monastic biographies, Covid-19 precautions, and other details may be found below.
