Saturday, July 7, at 7:30 – Family Vaudeville with Bob Bailey III, Connie Corrick, Hugh Hastings, and Lou Magor
We return to our roots to open the summer season. Comedy Juggler Bob Bailey III, soprano Connie Corrick, baritone Hugh Hastings, and pianist/organist Lou Magor serve up a family-friendly evening of great songs and gentle humor. Gershwin, Berlin, Kern, Weill, and Porter comprise the vocal set, both the Wurlitzer and the Steinway get a workout, and Bob’s antics more than fill the bill.

Friday, July 13, at 7:30 – Miles and Karina accompany Buster Keaton’s Steamboat Bill, Jr.
Miles and Karina are a quirky duo whose music is influenced by recordings from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. In 2014, they composed a score to Steamboat Bill, Jr., on a commission from the Northwest Film Forum’s Children’s Film Festival. In the score they use accordion, guitar, banjo, viola, ukulele, kazoos and glockenspiel. In this first visit to Kenyon Hall they’ll perform a concert set, followed by the Keaton film. Friday, July 20, at 7:30 – Roy Zimmerman in RiZe Up
Roy brings his new show to Kenyon Hall in his only Seattle appearance this season. Anyone who longs for political and social satire with a progressive slant will relish Roy’s ability to skewer his subjects with pointed observations, all set to tunes both charming and incisive. He’s been shining light on hypocrisy for years, yet his material is as fresh as today’s Huffington Post, where he’s a regular contributor. For more information, please visit royzimmerman.com.

Tickets for this special concert are $20 general and $18 seniors and students. No table seating for this show.

Saturday, July 21, at 7:30 – Ryegrass
We’re happy to bring back a Bluegrass band that’s been entertaining Northwest audiences since their first gig in 2001 at a used clothing store in Duvall. Having risen quickly from their modest beginnings, Ryegrass continues to perform all over the region in festivals, farmers’ markets, and fairs. Members of the band are Chip Diemond (bass), Paul Michel (mandolin, dobro, and vocals), Jim Hanna (guitar and vocals), John Burke (fiddle and vocals), and Steve Marx (banjo and vocals).

In describing their act, they write, “We have a lot of laughs playing together; at this stage in life, Ryegrass is a perfect combination of tradition, singer-songwriting, and men’s group.” We’re delighted to welcome them back to once again raise our roof.

For the shows July 7, 13, and 21, front reserved table seats are $14. Row seating is $12 general and $10 seniors. With a reservation, row seating is only $10 general and $8 seniors. Elementary, middle, and high school students are $5.
