Bicycle Helmet Sales

Wearing helmets saves lives! King County law requires that every cyclist wear a helmet while cycling. Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Lifelong Recreation staff and volunteers, in partnership with the Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation, will sell bicycle helmets this summer for $15 each for riders of all ages. Kids younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and all helmets require fitting by a staff or volunteer prior to sale. Glad to see that King County cares enough to protect children from injuries & require them to wear safety helmets. It’s important to train them from a young age to always wear a safety helmet.
