Acupuncture is one of the oldest, continually practiced medical modalities in the world. It is a safe, effective, chemical-free way to promote the body’s remarkable self-healing abilities. It is used to prevent and treat disease, relieve pain, balance mood, enhance athletic performance, and improve overall health and wellness.

Nancy Ishii is a licensed acupuncturist. She received her Masters of Acupuncture degree from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

This program is part of a monthly series exploring healthy aging for active seniors, presented in partnership with Brookdale – Senior Living Solutions. A free box lunch will be available for registered participants. Registration is required – call the West Seattle Library to register: 206-684-7444.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome.
