Saturday, July 6th FLiP Urban Forest Restoration Event

Have you visited the forest, lately? It’s a beautiful time in Lincoln
Park and also time to protect our urban forest and remove invasive
plants! See you in the park!

• Saturday July 6, 9am to noon.

• Meet near the NORTH parking lot Kiosk (Fauntleroy Way SW & SW Rose
St). If you miss us at 9am, check the kiosk map to see where we’re
working or call Sharon at 206.464.1068.

• Dress in NW layers to stay warm/cool and dry. We suggest long
sleeves and pants year-round to protect from scratches and a water
bottle to keep hydrated. Wear closed toe, sturdy shoes or boots. Bring
garden gloves and your favorite tool, if you have them. We will have
extra tools and gloves to borrow.

The fabulous and fun FLiP (Friends of Lincoln Park) crew meets the
first Saturday and third Sunday of each month. Temps are warming and
rain never stops us, but if there are high wind warnings, it’s not
safe to be in the woods and we’ll need to cancel.
