City Fruit’s Espalier Pruning and Training Workshop is back by popular demand! Espalier is a method of training fruit trees along a fence or barrier as a way to provide easy fruit growing and harvesting for small spaces. Pruning and training these trees is an important annual maintenance task that helps ensure a healthy harvest each season!

Join City Fruit Saturday, March 11th at 10 am in West Seattle to learn more about this technique! The workshop will cover which tools to use, how to make the best cuts to the trees, and how to train your canopy. It will also cover some basic fruit tree biology and growth response! Feel free to bring your own bypass pruner if you have it to practice! We’d love to have you learn with us!
