Dolphins Lead Eco Bike Tour of Longfellow Creek

Greetings everyone…
Just wanted to invite you to a southwest community event led by two Denny teachers taking place on Sept 27th starting at 9 am. Andrew Chase and Ben Evans will be leading a bilingual (Spanish & English) bike tour of Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail to connect students and their families to local ecology.

The Dolphin’s 6th Grade Bog to Bay Project connects kids and their families to local ecology, in particular with Longfellow Creek. Denny teachers, Andrew Chase and Ben Evans, will be hosting a bilingual bike tour of the Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail with as many students/families from the community as possible on Saturday, September 27th.

Route: From Roxbury, we will follow the Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. It is approximately 4 miles one way. There are a couple of places where you will have to carry your bike up/down some stairs. Dress appropriately for Seattle!

Start: Saturday, September 27th at 9 am at the baseball fields next to Roxhill Elementary School on SW Roxbury Street.

Finish: About 11 am at The Dragonfly Pavilion (28th Ave SW and SW Dakota Street) or by noon back at SW Roxbury St./Roxhill Elementary.
