10th Anniversary Duwamish River Festival / Festival del Río Duwamish

Save the date: Saturday, August 20, 2016, 12 pm–6 pm

The Duwamish River Festival: On this 10th Anniversary – we are celebrating 10! 10 milestones for our river, 10 achievements for this community, 10 stories from our community, 10 things to look for in the upcoming cleanup, and more! This event is all about the health of the river and its surrounding communities. This day will be a celebration of our river, the Duwamish River, and the communities living on its banks!

Join us for a day of music, dance, boat and kayak tours, art, interactive booths, FREE food, and more! Check out what is in store for the day:

~ Performances by Banda Vagos, Ballet Folklorico Angeles de Mexico, Fuerza y Poder bootcamp, the University of Washington Khmer Student Association, and more!
~ Boat and Kayak tours of the Duwamish River by Alki Kayak Tours and Puget Soundkeeper
~ Art Activities focused on our connection to the Duwamish River for the whole family!
~ FREE local food for the first 400 attendees!
