At the Delridge Library Branch: Explore the professional tools used by audio engineers and learn about this career pathway. Registration is required.

Digital audio production is a part of nearly every song heard today. Explore the professional tools used by audio engineers from Foundry 10, with the goal of composing a complete song in a digital interface. Come make music with real audio engineers who can share their view of the industry, their knowledge and tips for learning the tools, and help you become the next big producer. Music offers a powerful and creative avenue into the world of sound engineering, where it is one of many career pathways. For ages 13 – 18.

This program is part of this year’s Summer of Learning program Splash! Adventures with Water, which encourages reading and activities around science, technology, technology, arts and math. We are offering over 250 free youth programs throughout the city this summer. You can pick up a Summer Action Guide at any Library location.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is required. Online registration for this program opens two weeks before the program starts and closes three business days before the program date. Make changes to your registration after that date by calling or visiting the branch. Delridge Branch 206-733-9125.

Space is limited at library events. Please come early to make sure you get a seat. Due to the fire code, we can’t exceed the maximum capacity for our rooms.
