Colleen Echohawk, candidate for Seattle mayor, announced today that her campaign is launching 40 virtual neighborhood Town Halls across Seattle to hear from voters about their top concerns about Seattle and the future.
“This is a people first campaign. What that means to me, above all, is that it is your voices, your stories, that will transform our shared values into an actionable, powerful vision for our community. This pandemic has created barriers to meeting together, but cannot keep us from connecting. My hope is that this virtual town hall series brings you to the forefront – all of you – essential, frontline professionals, first responders, tech workers, teachers and everyone in between. We have had time to tend to our frustrations, please join with me in a shift toward solutions.” said Echohawk.
The town halls will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube and can be joined through the campaign’s website and social media channels. Echohawk announced the details of the first 7 Town Halls and will be announcing more details for the rest over the next 3 months.
