Music Northwest announces a gala Chamber Music Awards Recital for outstanding Northwest students on Sunday, August 18th, 2 pm, at Olympic Recital Hall on the campus of South Seattle Community College (WSB sponsor). The students, ages 7-21 will perform music in small ensembles by Dvorak, Brahms, Shostakovich, Barber and more. This is a concert not to be missed, with students from all over the region, including Alaska, who have been coached by artists from the Seattle Symphony and area universities.
