On APRIL 20th at 9 p.m: California 90420
Tickets are $10

The film offers an in-depth look inside the country’s first pot university; Oaksterdam, through the eyes of its faculty and students. The film prominently features three figures at the core of Oaksterdam University: Richard Lee, OU’s Founder and President, Jeff Jones, OU Horticulture Professor, and Dale Sky Jones, Chancellor of OU and recent head of the Prop 19 campaign to legalize recreational marijuana in California.

It follows 4 “twenty-something’s” who are marijuana users. It examines all aspects of usage both recreational, medical and discusses the issue as a political hot button. It allows the viewer to come to their own conclusions about this controversial plant.

The movie is extremely topical as U.S. Federal agents raided the University this week. Speaking on this weeks’ raid, Director Dean Shull commented, “Oaksterdam University is at the very heart of our documentary, CALIFORNIA, 90420. It’s hard to believe the Federal government doesn’t have better things to do than raiding a learning institution that creates legal jobs in California.” Tickets are $10.00 and will be available at the theater the day of the event, April 20th
