There will be a signing party for Pastor Ron Marshall’s new book, Kierkegaard in the Pulpit: Sermons Inspired by His Writings (Yakima: Cave Moon Press), 450 pp., on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at 12 Noon, First Lutheran Church of West Seattle. Books will be on sale at a special 35% discount for $23.00 each. The publisher, Doug Johnson, will also be in attendance. All proceeds will go to support the West Seattle Food Bank and the West Seattle Helpline. Pastor Marshall’s new book is a sequel to his acclaimed, Kierkegaard for the Church (Eugene, Oregon: Wipf & Stock, 2013). Søren Kierkegaard (1813–1855) was a Danish philosopher and theologian with close ties to the Lutheran Church.
