The Morgan Community Association (morganjunction.orgMoCA) is pleased to announce the return of the ‘BARK OF MORGAN’ DOG SHOW at the Morgan Junction Community Festival on June 18, 2016. The ‘Bark’ kicks off with the Pooch Parade through the Festival Grounds followed by Canine Contests. There are seven contest categories this year, with judging by audience applause.

This is the 11th year of the popular Morgan Junction Community Festival held in and around Morgan Junction Park in West Seattle. As in past years, the Festival and the Bark of Morgan will occur rain or shine!

Here are the Bark of Morgan details:

1:30 PM – POOCH PARADE: Leashed dogs and their human should line up by 1:30 pm north of Morgan Junction Park in SW Eddy Street. Costumes are encouraged. The parade will go through the Festival Grounds back to Eddy Street.

1:45 PM – CANINE CONTESTS: The contests take place north of Eddy Street after the Parade. Contest categories are:

* Highest Jump
* Smallest Dog
* Best Urban Village Dog
* Best Trick
* Best Costume
* Longest Tail
* Best Owner/Dog Look Alike

Contest winners are based on the audience ‘applause-o-meter’, as determined by the MC.
