The Kick-off Event for Orca Awareness Month:

Baby Orca Birthday Bash is June 5th at the Alki Bathhouse, 2:00–5:00 pm. It is free and open to the public, and intrinsically family focused! There will be tons of family fun and free orca activities to celebrate the birth of new Puget Sound orca calves!

We will have a birthday cake competition in which you will be the judge to determine the best orca birthday cake. Orca birthday cakes donated by BAKED (Winner of Cake Wars on Food Network), Hot Cakes, Bakerilly, Stuffed Cakes, Ella’s Cakes, & Morfey’s Cakes.

There will also be live music by Dana Lyons, orca storytelling by Whale Tales, face painting, orca hat and fin making, orca bingo with prizes by Whale Trail, J26 Mike the Inflatable Orca, Sammy the Salmon greeting the crowd, an Orca Fort, coloring station, photo
booth, and more.

Free tote bags for the first 100 people at the event!

Speakers include Seattle Port Commissioner Fred Felleman and Puget Sound Partnership Executive Director Sheida Sahandy. The event is sponsored by the Orca Salmon Alliance as part of Orca Month!
