If you’ve been reading his posts, you know that West Seattleite Mike moved to Nickelsville and has been something of a community liaison, letting us all know what their community is about and how we can help. Mike recently had to leave Nickelsville because of health issues and is looking for transitional housing which, even when subsidized, still costs money.

We will have a silent auction, a dessert auction, a “tip jar” for donations and even a “Mike Stahl Trivia Challenge!” all emceed by Teri Ensley of Furry Faces Foundation. Auction items include an illuminated, blown-glass jellyfish by West Seattle Art Attack, greeting cards from Christopher Boffoli’s “Big Appetites” series, gift certificates for massage by Chill and Jan Seeley, a McLendon’s gift certificate, photography by Machel Spence and much more!

We’re still accepting auction items, so if you have something you’d like to donate, please let us know!
