12:28 PM: Apparently because it’s lost. We have multiple reports including this one:
We found a brown and white goat crossing Delridge by Home Depot on Orchard. She has horns and is currently at the gas station tied up by a food truck.

2:38 PM: We just learned the goat escaped from the nearby Vietnamese Cultural Center (which, we should have remembered, is promising a “goat show” as part of its Children’s Moonlight Festival 2-4 pm Saturday). We’ve sent contact info to all parties and hopefully a reunion will ensue.
