We’re getting some questions about the King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian One helicopter flying over downtown White Center. According to a bulletin shared over the Seattle Police airwaves and subsequent discussion on KCSO radio, they’re investigating a robbery at 15th/100th. The robber “ran eastbound and linked up with (two other people),” according to KCSO radio. The robber took the victim’s cell phone. No description(s) yet.
Guardian One was searching for someone that stole a cell phone? That seems odd they would use the helicopter for a low level crime. Maybe they are aware the person they are searching for has additional reasons they are searching for them?
Either that, or Guardian one was already out around when this happened and decided to help on the search like they normally do some times..
I thought the same thing, “a cell phone” has to be more to this story but I guess we’ll never know. 😀
They dispatched it as a robbery. They may not have known initially what was taken. An armed robbery is an armed robbery.
