SEEN OFF WEST SEATTLE: Aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, outbound

Thanks to Jeremy Barton for the photo! Shortly after 5 pm, the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) sailed past West Seattle, northbound. It’s been a month and a half since the carrier arrived in Bremerton, its new homeport.

We have a very escalating dangerous situation, taking place in the Middle East that began with the attack on Israel and is getting widespread into Lebanon and other areas. Also the Chinese intimidating Taiwan and South Korea and sometimes even Japan. And of course the Ukraine being invaded by Russia…. it’s getting tense out there and hopefully it can get calm down before we turn out to be in a nasty world war. Its possible these provocations are set into place purposefully by Russia and China.  Think about it.

Agree whole heartedly. Very tense in the world right now.  God bless those men and women aboard that ship. And I agree about Russia and China. It is too convenient to be happening right now when we look like we are not paying attention.  As my father always said: hide and watch but be nice.

The question is:  Are we still being run by a civilian government – or a military junta?  Where are Biden, Harris and Walz as we are about ready to plunge into WWIII?

Sorry, comment time is over.
