That’s Helena, a 12-year-old Madison Middle School student, and we just found out from her dad Patrick that she’s collecting pet food until 6:30 pm today at 50th/Stevens. Her dad says she’ll be accepting donations tomorrow too (we’re checking on the hours). The pet food she collects will go to Seattle Humane.
Helena is staying out a bit longer until 6:30 pm since people are still dropping by.
This is so amazing. :) I work for two veterinary groups that provide accessible vet care and this is such a neglected area. <3
I have some Kitten food we accidentally ordered. If she is still collecting tomorrow happy to swing it by.
