By: JudyP https://westseattleblog.com/2023/04/followup-another-try-tomorrow-to-unclog-fauntleroy-creek-culvert/#comment-2474567 Wed, 12 Apr 2023 17:05:44 +0000 https://westseattleblog.com/?p=1060844#comment-2474567 Once we got the city’s attention about the partial blockage at 45th, Seattle Public Utilities assigned its A team to what has proven to be a difficult project.  Enough water is getting through to keep critters downstream healthy, including the hundreds of “home hatch” from last fall’s spawning.  The crew has also been attentive to fish in Lake Fauntleroy; one day they netted five beautiful smolts, which our volunteer safely transported downstream.  Other volunteers have been keeping watch on days the SPU crew has not been onsite.  Thanks to one and all!
