WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: Stolen white Ford pickup truck

The report and photo are from Dan:

Our 1995 Ford 150 was stolen from in front of our house on Admiral Way near Schmitz Park yesterday afternoon or early evening. It’s white and should have a white canopy on the back now. Glass on street indicates driver-side window (possibly wing) is broken. License #B53335T and incident #2022-300959 in case anyone sees it and is kind enough to contact police.

We recently had our 1992 F150 stolen, found by police completely stripped in a known chop shop on SW Michigan st underneath the first Ave bridge. I’d suggest looking there. Please let me know if that’s where it ended up.  Once we finish wrestling with our ins company we’re planning on trying to find as many people as we can to hold the city/state accountable for not addressing the criminal operation (its on state grounds and well known to SPD we were told.)

Thanks, Karla. He checked out under the bridge and found it there partially stripped. The white canopy is somewhere on the side of a road, as it was not there. Officers who responded say they complain about the chop shop as well but nothing happens.

There was an abandoned but still idling red pickup truck with the passenger window broken out and the driver’s side window rolled down on Admiral along the Schmitz bridge yesterday morning, too.

Sorry, comment time is over.
