Westbound now from north end of Blake Island. May be a group of KS. 9:16
Several large groups just passed alpha tango Buoy heading Northeast They were east in the channel visible with the naked eye gorgeous against the snowy Foothills
Where would one go to see them? I’m not familiar with buoy names. Beach drive? Lighthouse?thank you very much
I think Kersti is referring to the yellow mid-channel buoy between Alki
point and Bainbridge Island. Since they are headed North maybe you can
see them from the northern tip of Alki (aka Duamish Head).
Thanks for tips and offer of better binoculars. Good to put a face to the name today. Keep up the great work.
Met several people who were out because of the blog post, including a bucket Lister They brought up the app and would like a link to sign up so here it is again:

Yes! Great to meet you this morning and thanks for caring about the seal pupIt takes a lot of eyes to keep West Seattle running
Orcas continue northbound north of Seattle to Bainbridge Ferry Lanes. As viewed from Magnolia blufs.Best viewing place next in line would be Golden gardens. Wind is a little bit insane today so there’s quite a bit of white caps which makes them hard to spot at first
Sorry it’s “Tango” at Alki point/south end Bainbridge and “Alpha” is at three tree point Very close pass at Golden gardens as they brave the wind continuing North
Sorry, comment time is over.
