You can set your trip time for a future date. I tried searching for a trip downtown on 9/19 and even 10/10, and it still directed me to use the bridge closure reroute. Looks like Google Maps is still in the “believe it when we see it” camp.

It’s quite possible it was showing you the route over the low bridge based on the time of your posting (1:43am) which it will do during the all-access hours.

I’m pretty sure the grow operation is in the metal-sided building between SW Marginal Pl and W Marginal Way SW.

That’s a marijuana growing operation causing the skunky odor. I’m not sure exactly which warehouse it is, but there’s no mistaking the smell of a growhouse.

I am going to miss all the traffic that drives 24/7 past my previously quiet house for the last 2 years and will be sad when I think of it going back to driving past your house, Curious.  …NOT!!!!

Or is that the smell of decaying souls of the intentional line cutters?

Quiet is nice, but it sure reeks havoc on local businesses trying to stay afloat and turn a profit.

Because of today’s work? No traffic effects.

As noted previously: SDOT is not allowing pre-reopening events on the bridge.
