In reply to Mr. P. Collins. I have a better idea. Bring back the stocks and pillory, lock the perps in for a few hours in a public place, and let the victims have at 'em. Verbally, and with whatever rotten fruits and vegetables or other organic substances they choose to hurl. I'll bet a lot of victims would find the experience very 'healing' indeed.

In reply to WSB. Pretty much any crime can have "attempted" tacked onto it. The result is just that, with some exceptions (for the most serious of crimes) it gets knocked down to the next class; i.e., Class A felony to Class B felony, Class B felony to Class C felony, etc. The statute even contemplates attempted murder. See RCW 9A.28.020.

I was driving north bound on Marginal Way on Saturday/Sunday morning at 1AM. The whole south bound lanes were backed up with over 100 cars and people for street racing. Luckily I made it through, but it was a scene from Fast and the Furious.

I hope the 17yo doesn’t kill anyone before he’s apprehended – IF he’s apprehended. The guy shoots at a citizen, and deputies, and goes home with an ankle bracelet until trial. Of course he’s fled.

I bought a house before I was 25, without any help from my parents even...oooo responsibility. I even signed papers with a bank and have never been late on a payment, even while I had been unemployed. I was 10 when I got a hunting license, carried a deadly weapon and knew it was wrong to go around popping shots off at people. I started working when I was 12 and learned how to file taxes with my Mom. 25 you say, interesting....
