Thanks for the tips. Another semitruck has gotten stuck trying to navigate the winding road east of 21st/Delridge. We’re told police and a large tow truck are on scene.
6:04 PM: The road is clear.

Ah yes, the “tomtom honeypot” we call it. People blindly following their magic direction boxes have been getting stuck there for over a decade now.
You would think that SDOT would put up some signage limiting the size of vehicles that can safely go up or down this road. Oh, sorry – that makes too much sense.
oh, geez – no wonder it’s such a problem … drivers would have to pay attention!
One of those stupid truck drivers used my curb to try turning around and broke off the curb. I hope if they damaged other peoples driveways someone recorded their license plates.
Last Week while on my way to work I saw that a big rig Truck with a container on it had tried to come down a side street pretty close to the Fauntleroy Ferry. You know those last two streets just before the ferry that has that is in the wonky triangular area. It came down the Smallest street that was lined with cars and expected that he could make that tight right hand turn out of it. Not sure how they got him out with-out damaging any cars. If the street looks small why would you even attempt to come down it?
Sorry, comment time is over.
