SPORTS: West Seattle High School girls’ basketball season ends with regional-playoffs loss

Congratulations to the West Seattle High School girls’ basketball team for a season that took them all the way to the regional playoffs. Unfortunately, that’s where it ended tonight, just one win short of qualifying for state. The Wildcats lost to Auburn, 56-52, in a regionals game played in Puyallup.

    Good to see so many West Seattle fans and students come to Puyallup and support  the team. Great back and forth scoring and strong defense. Thanks, Wildcats, for an accomplished season. Proud of you!
