Waiting an awfully long time at the lower bridge. It’s been open at least 10 minutes.

Low bridge is a slow mover. Probably designed that way. And yes, don’t know why they designed it that way. But remember the tugs with barges are a little bit away, waiting for a full opening before they commit to going through which adds a bit of time. The REALLY long openings are for when a freighter goes through. I’ve waited close to 40 minutes for the bridge to reopen-riding in an authorized freight vehicle.

Sorry, comment time is over.
