ROAD-WORK ALERTS: In West Seattle, SDOT says, “On 9th Ave SW & SW Portland St and 16th Ave SW & SW Holly St, our crews will be constructing speed humps on Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM.” … Also of note if you’re traveling along the downtown waterfront this weekend, also from SDOT: “Alaskan Way reduced to one lane in each direction between S. King St. and Columbia St. Traffic will shift to new lanes on Monday.”
DISTRICT VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS: Games are at Chief Sealth International High School (2600 SW Thistle), starting at 9 am today. The brackets are here.
