  Some people didn’t seem to understand the 1/2 yard limit. Filling up a truck bed is much more than 1/2 yard. SMH

  I arrived at 9 o’clock on the dot and already there was a long line so it was about 90 minutes to snake thru the line and get to gather my compost. When I left at 10:30 the looked to be about a 2 hour wait. Great compost. Great event. Obviously much needed by all my fellow gardeners!

  For the next such event, it would be more equitable to disallow shoveling directly into truck beds.  Either it’s car only, or load into containers only.

  I sat for about an hour before cutting my losses. I could tell there would not be any compost left after the 24 cars proceeded before me. Too bad this was a great opportunity. I am disappointed they could not provide a greater quantity. On a side note it was amusing to see all types of people getting the compost in all types of manners and vessels. I disagree with the comment above.
