WATCH: Skeleton Theatre creators’ new online series T,O.S.T.

The sun’s not fully out (yet), so maybe you’re inside, looking for entertainment. Here’s a West Seattle creation: The team behind the annual Halloween animatronic extravaganza Skeleton Theatre has something new – online. Team spokesperson Maia Low explains, “We finally launched the side project we teased at the last Skeleton Theatre. It’s a YouTube web series called ‘Two Old Skeletons Talking’ (or T. O. S. T.). Two of our skeletons drive around Seattle talking about various subjects.” Above is the trailer for the first episode; you’ll find the series – episodes and trailers – here.

BACKSTORY: In case you’re new around here – while Skeleton Theatre, staged in an Admiral-area yard each year for more than a decade, happens at Halloween, it’s not spooky – it’s geared for laughs, not shrieks.

You’re so welcome! And thanks for checking it out. One of the things we’ve ended up being surprised by is how nicely our Seattle metro area scenery is captured out the windows of the car, especially coming down from Snoqualmie Pass, and traveling near the water…thank you GoPro!
    Cheers,
    Chris

I can feel it in my bones … this is just the weird I needed … especially for 2020.  Please keep up the good work.

Awesome, thanks Commuter! We hope you continue to like the episodes, and we will keep them up…for a while at least. There are 26 episodes in the can (all shot in 2019) for season 1, and they’ll come out once a week until, I guess, near Christmas this year. BTW, Episode 26, shot in a convertible at Alki. Had to represent the hometown.
    Thanks again!

I could listen to those guys for hours.   Um, how much DO you need to get into Canada?

    • Chris August 2, 2020 (9:43 pm)

So, if it’s 1985, and you’re a 19 year old guy driving a rattle-trap car that looks like it’ll break down in the next ten miles, and you’re telling the RCMP that you’re going to drive on through to Alaska? Well, then they’re gonna want you to have about $500. For the record, Dave DID make it all the way into Alaska…and then the car broke down.
Thanks Turtle, glad you enjoyed our dulcet tones!
