Thanks to Marc for the photo, and to Anne for the original tip – for the past few hours, SW Lander between Admiral and Alki has been closed because of downed wires. Anne says a PODS truck headed uphill snagged the wires. They were deactivated and the truck was freed, but the wires haven’t been fixed at last report.
Noticed those wires were hanging very low as I drove down the hill on Wednesday the 18th. Looked temporary and precarious. Hope the driver is ok.
I’m surprised it’s taken this long for those wires to be snagged. That bend in the hill combined with wires that were hanging quite low and overlarge trucks on a narrow street – accident waiting to happen
