UPDATE: 35th/Fauntleroy crash

12:49 PM: Avoid 35th/Fauntleroy – emergency responders are at the scene of the crash shown on that SDOT traffic-camera framegrab; at least three vehicles appear to be involved. SDOT says 35th is blocked both ways but so far Fauntleroy traffic (to and from the bridge) is getting through.

1:56 PM: The scene is now clear. We’re checking with SFD about injuries.

I’ve heard there’s a missing dog related to this accident, a medium sized golden dog. Folks are out searching in the area.

right around this same time this afternoon, I saw a loose brown dog running full speed, he crossed Fauntleroy and was headed west on Brandon, then he cut northwest through yards one block west of Fauntleroy and I lost sight of him.  I looked for him, but he was moving fast.  Hope he’s OK.

Does anyone know if the dog is OK? We were driving by on the opposite side when we saw the door being opened and the dog jumping out. We hope all drivers are OK too.
