CRIME PREVENTION: Advice for closed businesses

With more businesses forced to close because of the governor’s stay-home order, that Seattle Police flyer may be helpful (see it above, and here in PDF) – Southwest Precinct Crime Prevention Coordinator Jennifer Danner sent it, along with another city “tip sheet.”

I first read this as “Advice closed for business” and thought to myself how none of us would ever ahere to that…which is why we’re here in the first place :-)

I hope patrols are kept up. Talk about easy targets.

This is sad.  Walked by The Nook in Admiral in Junction yesterday, they have many photos posted on their door of what it looks like inside – all shelves empty, no liquor or alcohol in this location but secured elsewhere.  To think that these business already hit so hard have to now defend themselves to not be hit worse is quite unfortunate.

Sorry, comment time is over.
