    Oh ok, that pheasant is not a native bird, but there are feral populations now in the US.  I was confused for a minute.

    How long has it been since the famous West Seattle Turkey has been seen?

    For those of you who haven’t seen it, the PBS documentary called “My Life as a Turkey” is both wonderful and educational.  Turkeys are very, very smart creatures, and yes, they routinely nest in trees.  It’s only the poor beings who have been genetically modified and raised industrially as meat that can’t fly due to their bulk.
