WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: Stolen blue Yamaha motorcycle

The video and report were sent by Aran:

My motorcycle was stolen from the alleyway behind 3811 California Ave SW at 12:30 am on Friday, 10/4. It was a blue 2015 Yamaha R3 with license plate number 9F5851. The theft was caught on my neighbor’s Ring camera. Suspect appears to be a taller white male wearing a red baseball hat with a red logo, a gray hoodie, black vest, jeans, and black boots.

Call 911 if you see it.

I see the alley creeps are out working in the evening, what a bummer. I also park a motorcycle in an alley but use a disc brake lock to ensure that someone doesn’t simply push my bike away. It’s not a sure thing but might have helped in this situation.

We also had a Yamaha scooter stolen last night from our alley parking lot. Behind 2311 California Ave SW. Late 80s-early 90s Yamaha Zuma, light blue with cracked plastic front and a Verite coffee sticker. Just discovered it missing at 8am; haven’t filed police report yet.

Please email us when you can – include the plate #, and a photo if you have one – and we can publish a separate Crime Watch report – westseattleblog@gmail.com – thank you.
