6:59 AM: Good morning. Two alerts if you use NB 99:

-Crash just north of the West Seattle Bridge.

-SDOT says the signal at Alaskan Way/Dearborn is in flashing-red mode.

7:18 AM: SDOT says the crash has cleared.

7:54 AM: The Dearborn signal is fixed.

The 21X I took earlier this morning was re-routed down 4th Ave S instead of SR-99 due to the crash.

Metro is rerouting at least the 55 to 4th, they’ve announced.

    I actually appreciate when somebody points out our occasional typos. Especially that one – I added that note by phone and do tend to hit the “s” when I meant its neighbor “a,” and I don’t always catch it because in the back-end-display font, the two look a lot alike if I don’t have my glasses on. – TR

YES!!!! Please keep moving in the right lane all the way down and safely merge at a decent speed. You do not need to stop in the right lane and hold up the entire one lane ramp getting onto 99NB!

The real fix is to allow right turning traffic in the bus lane like it is in the rest of SEATTLE. Merging in to then Merge out 200 yards later is silly.
