BACK TO SCHOOL: Shopping for supplies? Buy some extra if you can

If you’re shopping for back-to-school supplies, consider buying extra, if you can, to donate to the Southwest Youth and Family Services donation drive. Through Thursday (August 29th), they’re accepting donated items as listed above. Then on Thursday 4-7 pm they’ll distribute donate supplies to local kids. If you can donate, you’ll find SWYFS at 4555 Delridge Way SW.

I just placed an order on Staples.com to be delivered to SW Youth & Family Services tomorrow.Can’t get much easier than that!

My daughter-in-law teaches elementary school and each year when she stocks her classroom she finds some of the basics: pencils, erasers, rulers, pens, pencil sharpeners, index cards, at the Dollar Store.
