I’m sorry your bike was stolen.  Go down to S. Industrial Way off of 4th Ave S. Tons of bicycles.  They guys steal hundreds of bicycles.  Piles every morning as I’m going to work.

Having your bike stolen sucks.  I lock mine up in my garage.  For a City trying to be bike friendly, how theft is dealt with leaves a lot to desired.  Thieves need to be caught and held accountable!

It’s really crappy we have to deal with all these thefts of property in today’s time. 20 years ago these crimes would have taken precedents. Unfortunately we don’t have as many people joining the police force or as Washington state patrol. We need more. We also need our city to give our police more control and resources to take care of this.

I’d recommend you check the bike path directly west of the stadiums in that stretch south of King Street. I think I saw a bike very similar to this one locked up with another. And neither were there when I was on this route on Monday. Very sorry this happened to you as this mode of transportation is so efficient and sustainable – but only if you can hang on to your equipment.

Sorry, comment time is over.
