In case you’re experiencing it too – Denise reports, “We have white water coming out of the cold water tap in the 2900 block of 39th. I called the city line at 206.386.1800 and the operator said an inspector would call back, but hasn’t yet.” That’s the number to call if you have discolored water, even if you know somebody else has reported it already.
White water equates to aerated water so air has been influenced and entrapped somewhere and somehow.
Discolored water on the 2300 block of 44th also. Called it in. Thanks West Seattle Blog, you were already on top of it.
The inspector said if not clear by morning, they would like to know. It’s good to report your block so they can find the break. You can tell it’s just air in the water by watching the glass of water clear up in a few minutes from bottom to top.
Anyone still having issues – ‘Im still seeing it / seeing it anew in my taps today.We notice it in our toilets especially – air in the lines makes the tank refill post-flush pretty loud/violent.
