Continuing to commute by bicycle especially during these dry conditions which the week or more ahead seems to be good. #ienjoymycommute

I enjoy my commute too. Very convenient to live and work in West Seattle. I can leave the office at 5pm, go pick up kid from after-school care, get him changed, have a snack, and get him to soccer practice by 5:30.

Flaggers were setting up on Holden St one block before HP Way at about 8:30 this morning. Could cause unexpected backups later than normal.

Anybody else having trouble getting on the 120 bus the last few weeks? We usually catch the bus at Andover/Delridge around 8am. Several times lately the bus is too packed and the driver won’t let people on. This bus route has always been like riding in a sardine can on wheels, but lately it seems packed beyond reason. Did this route drop buses with the latest changes or something?

Supposedly trips were added. From https://kingcounty.gov/depts/transportation/metro/schedules-maps/service-change.aspx – “Route 120: On weekdays, two new southbound AM trips and one new northbound PM trip will be added. Schedule times will be adjusted by several minutes to accommodate these new trips.”

Thanks, WSB. If I’m reading that right, they added buses in the opposite direction that I’m traveling in the morning.

This route needs some serious investment asap. I’m following the Rapid Ride planning, but in the meantime have lost my patience with Metro’s current service. It is not convenient to be left standing at the bus stop multiple times per week. It also doesn’t feel safe the way they keep packing these buses to the brim.

I so wish I could live AND work in West Seattle. :(

From WB quote: “2 new southbound AM” trips?
That doesn’t help all the people stranded at Delridge/ Andover, trying to get downtown.

Catch the 50 and transfer to another bus once on 4th ave S or take the link light rail into downtown Seattle

Sorry, comment time is over.
