LOW TIDE, WITH SIGN-LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION: Seattle Aquarium volunteer beach naturalists are out today, 10 am-1 pm, at Constellation Park (63rd SW/Beach Drive SW) and at Lincoln Park (8011 Fauntleroy Way SW), where sign-language interpretation will be available today. Low tide is -2.9 feet at 11:22 am.)

BENEFIT BAKE SALE AND PET-ITEM DONATION DRIVE: Gwen and Muriel do this every year for the Seattle Humane Society:

Delicious cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and more! They are also collecting donations for the Humane Society including cat or dog food (wet or dry), animal toys, or new scratching posts. Cash and check donations are very welcome.

Since the day is starting with an iffy forecast, a rainout is possible, and we’ll update IF organizers decide to postpone the movie. Otherwise, gates open 6:30 pm in the parking lot on the southwest side of the Y; movie’s at dusk – around 8:45; bring your own chair/blanket.
