7:03 AM: Good morning! No incidents reported in/from West Seattle so far.
WATER TAXI REMINDER: Last scheduled day for the smaller Spirit of Kingston to fill in for the Doc Maynard, which is undergoing maintenance.
STADIUM ZONE: Day game for the Mariners, vs. the Giants, 1:10 pm.
7:50 AM: The Sound Transit Express 560 is experiencing delays, according to a text alert, “due to traffic.”
Anyone notice a rotisserie chicken on the left eastbound lane near the Nucor plant? This is the third day I’ve seen it.
I’d say after 3 days, it’s fair game. It’s yours if you want it, Carlos!
I have! It was semi-intact when I saw it, but I suppose you get dibs Carlos…
Just an FYI that traffic in downtown/SoDo is a parking lot. If you can wait, go grab a bite or a drink, enjoy the weather and do not head to West Seattle until after 7 pm. I caught the 21 at Seneca at 4:15 and got on the bridge at 5:15.
5:25 water taxi left with quite a few folks left on the dock waiting for the 6:05. And I am one of them, but at least it’s nice out!
Same thing happened on the 4:45 run so some of that spilled over to the 5:25 – a bit unfortunate they had the smaller boat running the same day as an Ms day game but oh well.
The 6:05 water taxi also left people at the dock. The afternoon baseball game really made a mess of the evening commute.
Waiting for a bus home, the 55 just blew by the stop (on 3rd) without stopping or pausing. People stuck here waiting. It didn’t look full.
