Marination Ma Kai benefit today for employee’s family

Marination Ma Kai at Seacrest was closed on Saturday, and told us that it was “in remembrance of an employee gone too soon.” Today, multiple WSB readers have messaged us to say the employee was the young man who died on Beach Drive Friday, and that the restaurant is donating today’s proceeds to his family, and they thought we should let you know. Marination Ma Kai is open until 9 tonight.

Miguel was the light of everyone’s life. Marination has my business and respect forever for helping his family through this pain. Gone too soon. Forever loved. Reach out to those you love because smiles can mask pain. Thank you, Marination.

I’m so sorry for everyone’s loss. Although I never knew Miguel, My kids friends did and spoke highly of him. I think what Marination did was so honorable and loyal to its employee and although I already patronize them, this makes me love them even more. God Bless the Sanchez family.

Marination has, from day 1 (whether you call it the truck or the current location), been such a great presence to our community.  I didn’t know Miguel, but I’m sure he was a part of the many meals we’ve had at Marination and as a community member and patron I have so much respect for a business that honors and loves it’s employees and gives back to their families in times like these.

Sorry, comment time is over.
