12:12 PM: If you’re headed to/from the Fauntleroy ferry dock from the south, or to/from the Endolyne business district in Fauntleroy, heads-up – SFD and SPD are responding to a two-car crash at 45th and Wildwood [map]. We’re on the way to check it out.
12:21 PM: Our crew reports there are no serious injuries and the vehicles already have been moved off to the side, so once police and fire clear out, things will be back to normal.
Argh, I hate the feeling when I witness the accident. I’m glad everyone is okay as they were shaking so bad. I gave the water bottles to them even a dog too!
Not really related, but what was the big police presence in and around high point area earlier??
Don’t know. By the time someone told us about it, saying they had been there for three hours, we went over and they were gone. I don’t know if it was SPD or some other agency; photos the tipster sent were inconclusive. Nobody was picking up at SPD media (and we heard no scanner traffic, which also leads me to wonder if it was another agency) but I’ll be asking again tomorrow. It was an arrest regarding a massive theft ring of cars and work out facilities. Komo 4 has the story. I really hope all of these people get the book thrown at them.
