I think it’s awesome that local grads get to graduate at the SW complex.  All my nieces and nephews from the Eastside have had to trek to key arena for their ceremonies.

I agree.I enjoy hearing the applause, speeches, and music from my house two blocks away.

Most years, though, I have had people completely block my and my neighbor’s driveways. Two years ago, someone actually parked in my driveway. If my car had been in my garage, we would have been prevented from going anywhere by car during the ceremony.

It is usually the latecomers who get desperate and lose any consideration for people living in the neighborhood. If you are going to graduation this evening, please give yourself enough time to find parking. Street parking will fill up for many blocks in all directions, and the non-arterials will be log-jammed, since the streets become one lane only when both sides fill up with parked cars.

WSHS athletic association get out into the growing dense community your are in and a part of do community clean ups like the one recently in the Admiral District by the schools community group and span out to alki the junction beyond over into high point Seattle Public Utilizes can provide trash grabbers brooms dustpan among other supplies and generate funds thru community cleanups get out and be amongst the public in this ever denser and growing population. If it’s on the ground it’s in the sound, be of service generating funds towards sports while protecting the environment. This idea of mine is not original do a Google search other sports teams from high schools have done this.

I’m sure you’ve reported it elsewhere, but I can’t find anything about why the West Seattle water taxi is back to the small boat. What’s up with that?

Sorry, comment time is over.
