I could not find any info about the water taxi working late for the game.  Do you guys know anything about it?

No, they don’t do that in the fall/winter season.

        thank you

So now even the Tuesday before Thanksgiving is heavy traffic?  Do people not take vacations any more or have we just reached a tipping point to where those things don’t even have an impact?

“Maybe” the Friday after Thanksgiving will still be a great day to commute!

    Ugh!

I have never heard of widespread use of Tuesday as a holiday.  Wednesday and Friday yes.

I just meant lots of people use to leverage the 4-day Holiday into a 9-day vacation by taking Mon-Wed off as “vacation days” – thus getting 9 days off for the price of 3.  A good use of vacation time if you ask me.

You use to “feel” that lighter load the entire week of Thanksgiving.

Obviously I didn’t do it this year either.

True, however, some folks probably probably don’t have vacation time or some employers are not closed on Friday’s  so in that case, it would be 4 days vacation and on day holiday.  I’ve worked at Boeing since 1998 and I have never taken the Thanksgiving week off except last year when I had surgery.  I planned it so I only took two days vacation time (Tues and Weds) and then Boeing is off Thurs-Friday and I was back at work the following Monday.

we close a few hours early on the day before major holiday and it’s awkward for us bus riders because the commuter buses/sounder trains don’t start that early.  So, it can take over an hour to get home.

The 21X was lighter than usual and the traffic from my optics on the bus seemed a little lighter.  But I was busing between 7:30am and 8am.  Maybe it got back to normal after 8am?

Downtown is a parking lot. Accident on 3rd at Columbia so the buses are running really late. We just spent 20 minutes going two blocks.

Haven’t seen a C line in 30 minutes. A 56 is just passing Pike St now.

Sorry, comment time is over.
